One of Bill’s favourite things in life was cycling on the South Downs with friends, most recently with a little assistance from an electric bike. This love of cycling was evident in the achievement of completing the London to Brighton bike ride over 20 times, raising much needed funds on behalf the British Heart Foundation. Something that we will forever be proud of him for.

Travel always excited Bill. As a family we were fortunate enough to visit numerous destinations experiencing many adventures and quality family time together that strengthened our bond. In later years Bill and Norma continued to experience the world and visited many countries enjoying the culture, flora and fauna, local cuisines, and historical significance of everywhere they visited. Of course, he also loved the long driving adventures taking in the landscapes and vistas.

Bill was very proud of his garden. This was where he spent many happy hours tending to the flowers and ensuring that it was always a beautiful tranquil place to enjoy with his family and friends.

Fishing with Stephen was a favourite way to spend some quality father son time.
